DVD Reviews

I have a couple of DVD reviews to tell you about today. The first one is an historical movie about the first year of the presidency of Lyndon Johnson. The movie is called "All The Way". It focuses upon the efforts of President Johnson and Martin Luther King to pass the 1964 Civil Rights Act. I thought this was a terrifically acted film. I do want to provide a caveat. There is a lot of profanity in this movie. This is a reflection of the fact that President Lyndon Johnson was known to use a lot of colorful language.

The second recommendation is a DVD series called "A Touch of Frost.". This is a British detective series that ran for 15 seasons. The episodes are interesting, and the main character is a great detective who doesn't always get along with his superiors. He likes to do things his own way.
