Poem

Next week, I hope to return to reviews. This week I am posting a poem I wrote that was published in a literary journal called Carpe Laureate Diem. The poem was published in 1998.

Icy Road

Glazed, yet clear.
The forgotten byway
is fridgidly engulfed.

No speeding tread
crosses upon it
to make a path bare.

Alone it stretches,
depressed and forelorn.
It awaits the springtime thaw.
